However, here is a high-level summary: Larry Walker is a former professional baseball player who played with the Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, and St. Louis Cardinals over his 17 year career. He was known as a five-tool outfielder with great instincts and won seven Gold Glove Awards. Walker had a lifetime .313 batting average and hit 383 home runs. His best season came in 1997 when he was the National League MVP while playing for the Colorado Rockies. In 2022, Walker was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his final year of eligibility. He became the second Canadian-born player inducted. Over his career, Walker was a five-time All-Star and three-time batting champion.
