Lee Hawkins is a Republican representative for Georgia House District 27, which includes portions of Hall and Lumpkin counties. A practicing dentist in Gainesville, Georgia, alongside his son Ben, he was born in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School before attending Oxford College. Hawkins has served in the Georgia General Assembly for over 15 years, including prior roles in the Georgia Senate starting in 2007 and the House since 2013.
