John H. Bucy III is a small business owner, Army veteran, and public school teacher running to represent Williamson County in the Texas House. After serving in the U.S. Army, John returned home to Texas where he has been a public school history teacher for the last decade. He lives in Northwest Austin with his wife Kate, a third-grade teacher, and his rescue dog Copper. As a small business owner, John understands the challenges of running a business and making payroll every month. He will take that experience to the Capitol to support policies that help small businesses in Texas grow.read less
