Biography
Lacey Hull is a Republican state representative from House District 138 in Houston, Texas. She is a native Houstonian who was born and raised in her district and currently resides in Spring Branch with her family, where she attends Bayou City Fellowship Church.
Education and Background
Hull earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Houston after attending Spring Branch Independent School District schools. Prior to her election to the Texas House, she worked with various nonprofits advocating for policies that protect the liberties of Texas families.
Political Experience
Hull was first elected in 2020 and has established a conservative legislative record focused on protecting families and public safety. Her notable positions and achievements include:
- Chair of the House Committee on Human Services, addressing child welfare and services for disabled Texans
- Vice-chair of the bipartisan Criminal Justice Reform Caucus
- Chair of the Harris County delegation, advocating for Houston's economic prosperity
