Jessica González is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, serving District 104 since January 2019. She is a licensed attorney focused on criminal justice reform, voting rights, affordable housing, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Jessica Araceli González, born December 25, 1980, in Dallas, is serving her fourth term representing House District 104. A practicing attorney at Gandara & González, PLLC, in her district, she champions working families, marginalized communities, and civil rights. She married her wife, Angela, in 2021 and enjoys family time, Nintendo games, and LEGO sets. Notable achievements include the 2024 Profile in Courage Award from Equality Texas, Texas Monthly’s “Bull of the Brazos” , Matt Garcia Public Service Award from MALDEF, and USA Today’s Women of the Year .
