ABOUT
Phillip Chen is serving his first term in the California State Assembly, representing the 55th District. Chen is a small business owner, attorney, and professor. Chen earned his B.A. in political science from UC Irvine and his J.D. from UCLA. He opened a private law practice specializing in business, employment, and health care law. Chen also taught courses at local colleges in business law, real estate law, and healthcare regulations. In 2016, Chen was elected to represent California’s 55th Assembly District, which includes parts of Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties. He currently sits on the Banking and Finance, Communications and Conveyance, Judiciary, and Privacy and Consumer Protection Committees.read less
