Biography
Warren Earl Davidson, born on March 1, 1970, in Sidney, Ohio, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 8th Congressional District since 2016. The district encompasses areas between Cincinnati and Dayton. Davidson is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, focusing on economic growth, fiscal discipline, and innovation.
After high school, Davidson enlisted in the U.S. Army as an infantryman. He was stationed in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division and witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall. Recognized for his potential, he earned an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, graduating near the top of his class in 1995 with a degree in American history and mechanical engineering. As an officer, he served in The Old Guard, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the 101st Airborne Division.
After his military service, Davidson returned to Ohio, earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and spent 15 years owning and operating manufacturing companies. In 2016, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Davidson and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 1995 and have two adult children.
