Mark Eugene Amodei is a Republican U.S. Representative for Nevada's 2nd Congressional District, serving since 2011 following a special election. Born on June 12, 1958, in Carson City, Nevada, he is a lawyer and politician with a career focused on state and federal service, including roles in the Nevada Legislature and leadership in mining advocacy.
