Jill E. Billings graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky in 1980. She worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years. In 2004, Billings was elected to serve in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She focused on healthcare issues and served on several legislative committees related to health and welfare. In 2013, Billings won a special election for the Kentucky Senate. She continues to serve in the state Senate representing the people of her district.read less
