Lori Palmeri is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the 54th District, elected in 2022 after serving as Oshkosh's first female mayor.

Lori Palmeri, born in Takoma Park, Maryland, has been a resident of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, since 2008. She is married to Tony Palmeri, with two adult children and two grandchildren. A working mother employed as an international medical courier, she entered public service motivated by neighborhood advocacy, co-founding the Middle Village Neighborhood Association in 2010. Palmeri served on the Oshkosh Common Council from 2016–2023, as deputy mayor in 2018, and as mayor for two terms from 2019–2023. She has held roles on numerous local boards, including the Oshkosh Redevelopment Authority , East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, Parks Advisory Board, and Bike and Pedestrian Boards. Notable achievements include being Oshkosh's first female mayor and her focus on issues like Medicaid expansion, university funding, mental health, and environmental protection. In the Assembly, she serves as Ranking Member on the Committees on Environment and Forestry, Parks & Outdoor Recreation, and is a member of the Committee on Local Government and Wisconsin Council on Forestry. She previously served on the Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention, Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform, and the Speaker's Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.
