André Jacque is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Senate representing District 1. Born on October 13, 1980, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, he resides in De Pere with his wife and seven children. A full-time legislator, he previously served as Wisconsin State Representative for the 2nd Assembly District from 2010 to 2016 before being elected to the Senate in 2018. He has earned numerous awards, including Legislator of the Year from the Wisconsin Professional Police Association and Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association , Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence Legislative Champion Award, Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislator of the Year, NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award, and recognitions from groups like MADD, Wisconsin Counties Association, and Wisconsin Towns Association for his work on public safety, domestic violence prevention, small business, and pro-life issues.
