Ron Tusler is a Republican Wisconsin State Representative for Assembly District 3, which covers all of Calumet County and western parts of Manitowoc County, spanning parts of Outagamie and Manitowoc Counties. Born in 1984 in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Bill and Bev Tusler , he is a lifelong Fox Valley resident, local attorney, and small business owner of Tusler Law, LLC. An avid hunter, fisherman, and NRA member, he met his wife Devon at UW-Milwaukee; he previously chaired the Outagamie County Republican Party , tripling its membership and earning Ripon Awards.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from St. Matthew's Lutheran School , Neenah High School , UW-Milwaukee , and Marquette University Law School . Student-taught at BayView High School, Bell Accelerated Middle School, and Westside I Head Start.
• Professional Experience: Interned at Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office; student attorney at Winnebago County DA and Outagamie County Public Defender’s Offices, prosecuting drunk driving, sexual assaults, and aiding in a murder trial. Worked at Alan Hoff Law Offices; currently attorney for private clients and Outagamie County Public Defender's Office.
• Political and Community Roles: Former chairman, president, and treasurer of Appleton Area Jaycees ; chaired Appleton Fireworks Committee ; Executive Officer, Boy Scouts of America Gathering Waters District ; appeared in 35+ TV interviews during 2012 recall election. Serves on committees including Education, Environment & Forestry, Natural Resources and Sporting Heritage, Insurance, Judiciary, and Assembly Speaker's Task Force on Rulemaking.
