Shannon Zimmerman is a Republican representative for Wisconsin Assembly District 30, based in River Falls. Born on March 15, 1972, he was raised in rural western Wisconsin, graduating from Augusta High School in 1990. He founded Sajan, Inc., a language translation and localization company, serving as CEO; it was recognized multiple times by INC Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies and named Large Business of the Year in 2011 by the St. Croix Economic Development Council. Zimmerman also co-founded Belle Vinez Winery with his family. Married to Angel for over 30 years, they have two sons, Josh and Nick, and four grandchildren. He attends Eaglebrook Church and serves on the UW-River Falls Chancellor’s Advisory Committee. First elected in 2016, he was reelected in 2018, 2020, and 2022, currently in his fourth term. His priorities include strengthening education, addressing workforce challenges, and protecting taxpayers.
