Dr. Saud Anwar is a physician and state senator in Connecticut. He serves as the Deputy President Pro Tempore of the State Senate and is a member of the Public Health Committee. Dr. Anwar was elected to represent the people of Connecticut's 3rd Senate District in 2018. He is the first Muslim senator elected in Connecticut.
