Ben McGorty is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 122, which includes parts of Shelton, Stratford, and Trumbull. He was first elected in a special election on July 22, 2014, assumed office on July 25, 2014, and was most recently re-elected on November 5, 2024. Notable achievements include serving as Assistant House Republican Leader, and committee roles on Commerce, Public Safety, Regulations Review, and Internship for the 2023-24 term.
