Tom Delnicki is a Republican State Representative for Connecticut's 14th Assembly District, representing South Windsor, where he is a lifelong resident. Born on September 7, 1956, he was first elected to the Connecticut General Assembly in November 2016. He serves as the Ranking Member of the Banking Committee and as a member of the Planning and Development Committee. Notable achievements include passing legislation to create a Captive Insurance Company for rebuilding crumbling foundations , championing a fair rent commission for renters, and crafting a bill to end control tactics by abusers against domestic violence victims.

Education and Political Experience

• Served on the South Windsor Town Council from 1995 to 2007 and 2009 to present, including as Mayor , Deputy Mayor, and chair of committees such as Ethics, Audit, Public Health and Safety, and Public Building and Land Naming; also served on the first Strategic Planning Committee in 1999.
• Prior roles: Member of the South Windsor Board of Education and Inland Wetlands/Conservation Commission.
