Biography
Brandon Chafee represents District 33 in the Connecticut House of Representatives, covering the northwestern portion of Middletown, including Wesleyan University. Born and raised in Middletown, Connecticut, he assumed office on January 6, 2021, and won re-election in November 2024, with his current term ending in 2027. A professional civil engineer, he works as a field engineer with Eversource, focusing on modernizing Connecticut's electrical grid and infrastructure. He lives in Middletown's Westfield section with his wife Meghan, a nurse practitioner, dog , and cat Neville. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers .
