Heather S. Bond Somers is running for election to the Idaho State Senate to represent District 21. She earned her Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Idaho in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2007. Somers has experience serving as an attorney in private practice and as a court appointed criminal defense attorney. She is a former Idaho Republican Party official and delegate to the Republican National Convention. Her priorities, if elected, are to defend our Constitutional rights, to ensure public safety, and keep taxes low to support economic opportunity for Idaho families.read less
