Samuel I. "Sandy" Rosenberg was born and raised in Baltimore. He earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1968 and his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1971. Rosenberg served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1983 to 1987. He was a member of the Maryland State Senate from 1987 to 1995. In 1994, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Maryland's 3rd district. He serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.read less
