Robbyn T. Lewis is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 46 in Baltimore City since her appointment on December 29, 2016, and first election in 2018. She is the first African American and first person of color to represent the district, which encompasses communities around Baltimore Harbor from Brooklyn and Cherry Hill to Highlandtown and Dundalk. A proud Baltimorean for over 20 years, she is an international public health leader focused on health care, transit, and safe livable communities. Notably, she is the only car-free state legislator by choice, using walking, transit, biking, and rideshare. She serves as House 1st Vice-Chair of the Baltimore City Delegation and on the Environment and Transportation Committee, with past roles on Health and Government Operations.
