Robert L. Allain is from Maine. He attended the University of Maine and earned his B.A. in financial economics in 1991. Prior to his election, Allain was a small business owner. He served on the board of Habitat for Humanity in his local community. He also volunteered in various youth programs including local Boys and Girls Clubs. Allain and his wife have been foster parents. They have three children.read less
