Biography
Mark Abraham is a Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate representing District 25, which includes Acadia, Calcasieu, Cameron, and Jefferson Davis parishes. First elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 with 81% of the vote, he is eligible to serve through the 2028-2032 term. Notable achievements include a 100% pro-life voting record in 2023 and support for bills on constitutional carry, criminal justice transparency, peace officer immunity, and post-conviction relief. He serves as Vice Chair of the Judiciary C Committee and holds positions on Commerce, Consumer Protection and International Affairs; Transportation, Highways and Public Works; Finance ; and the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.
