Lakeshia Nicole Myers was born on October 16, 1977 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She received her B.A. degree in Political Science and African American Studies from North Carolina Central University in 2000. Myers went on to receive her Masters of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University in 2003. Myers has worked for the North Carolina Democratic Party as Constituency Director since 2019, where she manages outreach efforts to various constituency groups. She has also served on the Wayne County Board of Elections from 2009 to 2019.read less
