Karin Housley is a business owner, realtor and Republican member of the Minnesota Senate. She owns and operates a real estate company and previously owned a small advertising business and newspaper. Housley was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2012. Prior to that, she chaired the Stillwater Area School Board. In the Senate, she serves as chair of the Senate Aging and Long-Term Care Policy Committee. She also serves on the Education, Taxes, Transportation, and Health and Human Services Policy Committees.read less
