James R. Baird is the U.S. Representative from Indiana's 4th Congressional District, first elected in 2010. He previously served as the Adjutant General of the Indiana National Guard from 2008 to 2010. Baird is a graduate of Purdue University. He served over 36 years in the military, including active duty assignments during Operations Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom.
