Biography
Jack Bergman is a Republican representing Michigan's 1st Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, which includes the entire Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. A retired Lieutenant General in the United States Marine Corps, he rose through the ranks guided by Midwestern values of hard work and excellence instilled by his parents. Bergman also enjoyed a 22-year career as a commercial airline pilot for Northwest Airlines and successfully owned and operated his own small business.
