Burgess Owens is a former NFL safety. He was a consensus First Team All-American in 1980. After retiring from the NFL, he founded a real estate company. Burgess earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Miami. He is married and has 3 children. In 2020, he was elected to represent Utah's 4th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the Education & Labor and Judiciary Committees. His mission is to defend the Constitution and help lead the conservative movement.read less
