Abel Herrero is from Corpus Christi, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2004. While serving in the Texas Legislature, Representative Herrero authored legislation relating to education, healthcare, insurance, economic development, and criminal justice.
