Biography
Jeff Leach
Jeff Leach is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives representing District 67 in Collin County. Born on June 10, 1982, in Plano, Texas, Leach is currently serving his seventh term in the state legislature. He is a practicing attorney specializing in complex commercial and civil litigation, construction law, and real estate at Gray Reed & McGraw LLP in Dallas.
Throughout his legislative career, Leach has focused on reducing property tax burdens, investing in public education, strengthening the state's energy infrastructure, and advancing long-term priorities in water management, transportation, and disaster preparedness. In 2019, he authored landmark legislation that resulted in a constitutional amendment banning state income tax on individuals.
Education
Leach graduated from Plano Senior High School before attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in Dallas.
Political Experience
