Brian P. Kavanagh was born on January 21, 1960 in New York. He earned his BA from New York University in 1981 and his JD from New York Law School in 1985. Kavanagh was first elected to represent New York’s 74th Assembly District in 2006. He went on to win reelection multiple times before being elected to the New York State Senate in 2017.read less
