Suzanne Weber is a Republican state senator representing District 16 in Oregon, which includes Tillamook and coastal communities in rural northwest Oregon. She assumed office on January 9, 2023, after winning the general election on November 8, 2022, defeating Democratic newcomer Melissa Busch to succeed Betsy Johnson. Previously, she served in the Oregon House of Representatives for District 32 from January 11, 2021, to January 9, 2023, winning in 2020 with 54.1% of the vote against Democrat Debbie Boothe-Schmidt. She currently serves as Republican Whip in the Senate.
