Sara P. Carruthers is running for Montana House of Representatives District 49. Carruthers graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in psychology. After college, Carruthers worked at St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center. She gained experience in healthcare administration and later provided consulting services to hospitals and clinics. Carruthers is active in her local community. She serves on the board of the Poverello Center, a homeless shelter. Carruthers also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and United Way.
