Biography
Andrea White is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 36th district, which includes Kettering, Oakwood, Riverside, and portions of Dayton in Montgomery County. She was first elected in 2020 and is currently serving her third term. Prior to her legislative career, White served as the elected Clerk of Court for Kettering Municipal Court from 2004 until her election to the House. In this role, she focused on process improvements and technology integration to enhance government services.
White has been actively involved in community initiatives addressing teen alcohol and drug prevention, addiction, hunger, and criminal justice issues. She co-founded the South Suburban Coalition and served as chair and board member for Kettering’s Partners for Healthy Youth. Additionally, she has been involved in efforts to combat the opioid epidemic, serving on the Montgomery County Community Overdose Action Team, the Montgomery County Drug-Free Coalition, and the Montgomery County Prevention Coalition.
A long-time resident of the 36th District, Representative White graduated from Centerville High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. She and her husband, John, reside in Kettering, where they raised their family.
