ABOUT
Royce Duplessis is a Democratic member of the Louisiana State Senate, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2021. Duplessis earned his B.A. in political science from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2006 and his J.D. from Southern University Law Center in 2009. Prior to joining the state Senate, Duplessis served on the Louisiana Board of Regents and worked as an attorney. His legal experience includes working as an assistant city attorney for New Orleans as well as in private practice.read less
