Robert L. Cowles is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing District 2. Cowles earned his BS in Journalism and MBA from UW-Madison. He was elected to the Senate in 1987. Cowles serves as co-chairman of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee. He also serves on the Senate Committee on Insurance, Housing, and Trade and the Transportation and Veterans Affairs Committee.
