Biography
Rob Summerfield is a Republican politician representing Wisconsin's 68th Assembly District in the Wisconsin State Assembly since January 2025. Born on February 24, 1980, in Bloomer, Wisconsin, he is a lifelong resident of the district, living there with his wife, Kim, and their three daughters. A former small business owner, Summerfield previously helped run his family’s Two Acres Supper Club and co-owned the Chippewa Valley Land Title Company. He is active in his community as a member of the Bloomer Chamber of Commerce, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and as a youth sports coach. Notable positions include serving as Republican Caucus Chair since 2023.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Bloomer High School in 1998; earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Stout in 2002.
- Political Experience: Elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2017, initially representing the 67th Assembly District until 2025, when he transitioned to the 68th District. He focuses on economic growth and job creation, drawing from his business background.
