Biography
Lisa Reynolds is a Democratic State Senator representing District 17 in Oregon, covering West Portland, Cathedral Park, Forest Park, North Beaverton, East Hillsboro, and much of unincorporated Washington County in Northeast Washington County. A pediatrician with over 20 years at The Children’s Clinic, she serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Early Childhood and Behavioral Health, focusing on reducing child poverty, improving family outcomes, ending gun violence, and expanding access to healthcare, especially behavioral health services. Notable achievements include prior service as Oregon State Representative , co-founding Indivisible Oregon, serving as Moms Demand Action Legislative Lead, and community roles like Tualatin Hills Park Foundation Board member and school volunteer. She continues seeing patients several days a week when the legislature is not in session and is running for re-election in 2026.
