Kevin S. Parker is a New York State Senator for the 21st district, first elected in 2002. He serves as chairman of the Energy Committee and is a member of several other committees. Parker sponsored legislation creating peer support programs for police officers and extending the statute of limitations for rape. He was a vocal supporter of raising the minimum wage, paid family leave, and criminal justice reforms including bail reform and speedy trial guarantees.read less
