ABOUT
James G. Skoufis is a Democratic member of the New York State Senate, representing District 39. He assumed office in January 2019 after defeating Republican town supervisor Tom Basile in the 2018 general election. Prior to his election, Skoufis served as an assistant attorney general for the State of New York. He has also served for over five years on the Woodbury Town Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
