Biography
Representative Greg Davids
Gregory Michael Davids is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 26B. He is a business and farm owner from the southeastern Minnesota region, serving counties including Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, and Winona. Davids is married to Bonnie and has three children.
Education
Davids earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Science from Winona State University and completed graduate work at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He also attended Waldorf College in Iowa for secondary education and graduated from Spring Valley High School.
Political Experience
Davids has had a long career in the Minnesota House of Representatives spanning multiple non-consecutive terms. He was first elected in 1991 as an Independent Republican and has served in various districts:

He is currently in his 17th term . Notably, Davids ran unsuccessfully as the Republican Party's endorsed candidate in the 2006 election, losing to Ken Tschumper by just 52 votes in an automatic recount.
