Biography
Beryl Brown Piccolantonio is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 4th District since January 10, 2024. She was appointed to this position following the resignation of former Representative Mary Lightbody. The 4th District encompasses the communities of Gahanna, Westerville, New Albany, and Blacklick.
Before her tenure in the Statehouse, Piccolantonio served as the President of the Gahanna-Jefferson School Board from 2016 until her appointment to the legislature. She was first elected to the school board in 2016 and re-elected in 2023.
In her legislative role, Representative Piccolantonio has been active in various committees, including Primary & Secondary Education, Higher Education, Commerce and Labor, Technology and Innovation, and serves as the ranking minority member of the Pensions Committee.
A lifelong Ohioan, she resides in Gahanna with her husband and three sons.
