Sean Patrick Brennan is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives representing District 14, which includes Parma, Parma Heights, and portions of Cleveland's West Side neighborhoods such as Wards 12, 13, 14, Old Brooklyn, South Hills, Brooklyn Centre, and Clark-Fulton. Born in Sandusky, Ohio, he has served since January 2023 and is currently in his second term. A former high school teacher and long-time Parma councilman, Brennan is married with two children and resides in Parma. Notable achievements include perfect session attendance, a 96% bipartisan voting record, being named the “Most Bipartisan Legislator,” sponsoring more bills than any other legislator, and passing 5 bills in his first term. An avid runner who has completed 110 marathons, he founded the annual Parma Run-Walk for Pierogies, raising funds for local charities, and contributed to community projects like the Parma sign in Anthony Zielinski Park.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Dayton ; Teaching Certification in Secondary Education from Cleveland State University ; Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Cleveland State University . He also completed graduate coursework in history, political science, economics, and pedagogy.
• Political Experience: Parma City Councilman for nearly two decades, including over a decade as at-large elected President of Council; served on the Public Housing Board of Ohio’s 7th largest city. Elected to Ohio House District 14 in 2022, sworn in January 3, 2023, for the 135th General Assembly.
• Professional Background: Award-winning public school teacher for three decades—Middle School Teacher at Brecksville-Broadview Heights School District and High School Teacher .
• Community Involvement: Founder and board member of the Andrew Boyko Scholarship Foundation; active in American Red Cross, marathon pacing teams , and pandemic relief efforts for affected residents.
