Biography
Karen Brownlee is a Democratic State Representative serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives for District 28, which includes Blue Ash, Deer Park, Evendale, Forest Park, Loveland, Montgomery, Pleasant Run Farms , Sharonville, Springdale, Sycamore Township, and Symmes Township. A Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation from Symmes Township, she previously worked as a clinical social worker and trainer in Cincinnati's community mental health field, focusing on improving outcomes for children, adolescents, and families through collaboration with mental health providers, parents, educators, and law enforcement. She is married to John and is the parent of three young adults. Her priorities include health and safety, protecting democratic rights, strong public education, and equitable economic growth, bringing a commonsense, data-based approach to legislation.
