Establishes the class B felony offense of prohibited acts related to female genital mutilation. Requires prosecuting attorneys of the respective counties to keep annual statistics on cases involving prohibited acts related to female genital mutilation. Requires the Administrator of the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center to annually compile and report these county statistics to the Legislature. Establishes mandatory reporting requirements for ongoing or suspected cases of prohibited acts related to female genital mutilation. Appropriates funds.

SB1235 - Relating To The Office Of Hawaiian Affairs.

Establishes a temporary public land trust working group within the Office of the Governor for administrative purposes only. Provides that the working group's sole purpose shall be to compile a definitive inventory of public land trust lands. Authorizes the working group to hire staff. Appropriates moneys to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to be used for making repairs to bulkheads and revetments located in certain parcels conveyed to the Office and for certain construction costs for the development of Kukaniloko. Requires and appropriates moneys for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to conduct a programmatic environmental impact statement for any development projects within the Kakaako Makai area of the public land trust. Requires the immediate towing of any parked motor vehicle that is not properly registered, does not display a valid safety inspection sticker, or is parked in violation of any state traffic law.

SB2030 - Relating To The State Building Code Council.

Requires the State Building Code Council to assess the financial impact of the adoption of a code or standard on single-family and multi-family homes. Requires the State Building Code Council to also include amortized utility costs when adopting codes or standards. Amends annual reporting requirements for the State Building Code Council to include assessment of costs and determinations of benefit for residents. Takes effect 1/1/2025.
