State Rep. Winnie Brinks was elected to represent Michigan's 76th District in 2012. Brinks served on the Grand Rapids Community College Board from 2003-2012. She is Vice Chair of the Michigan House Appropriations Committee and served as Democratic Vice Chair of the House Education Committee from 2013-2014. Brinks is focused on issues related to education, health, workforce development and creating a climate conducive to job growth in West Michigan.
