Rosemary Bayer is a Democratic member of the Colorado State House, representing District 12. She was first elected in 2020. Bayer is a teacher at Steamboat Springs High School and has taught science for 22 years across the state. Bayer earned her bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Colorado Christian University. Bayer is a longtime resident of House District 12. She serves as vice chair of the House Education Committee and is a member of the House Energy & Environment Committee.read less
