Samuel McKenzie was born in Columbus, Georgia. He earned his BBA from Georgia Southern University in 1992. After college, he started his own real estate company, eventually expanding to 14 locations across Georgia. In 2018, McKenzie decided to run for Georgia's 2nd congressional district. He has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations supporting healthcare access, education, and economic opportunity. If elected, he plans to focus on expanding access to affordable healthcare, improving infrastructure, and bringing more tech jobs to the district.read less
