Robert L. Cowles is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing District 2. Cowles earned his BS in Journalism and MBA from UW-Madison. He was elected to the Senate in 1987. Cowles serves as co-chairman of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee. He also serves on the Senate Committee on Insurance, Housing, and Trade and the Transportation and Veterans Affairs Committee. Previously, Cowles served in the State Assembly from 1982 to 1987. He owns a publishing company.read less
