Biography
Dan Knodl is a Republican representing Wisconsin's 24th Assembly District, which includes communities such as Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Lannon, and Butler. Born Daniel Raymond Knodl on December 14, 1958, in Milwaukee and raised in Menomonee Falls, he has four children and three grandchildren, and resides in Germantown. A former resort owner, he operated Reef Point Resort on Pike Lake until recently and co-owned the Barrelhouse Bar and Broiler. Notable achievements include serving as Assistant Majority Leader and Majority Caucus Chair in the Assembly, election to the Wisconsin State Senate's 8th District in a 2023 special election , and his November 2024 reelection to a ninth term in the Assembly. He has been active in local organizations like the Pike Lake Protection District , Ozaukee/Washington Land Trust, Pike Lake Sportsmen's Club, Menomonee Falls Optimist Club, and Knights of Columbus at St. Boniface Parish.

- Education: Graduated from Menomonee Falls East High School in 1977, where he held multiple student leadership roles including Student Council President for four years; attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
- Political Experience: Elected to Washington County Board of Supervisors ; Wisconsin State Assembly District 24 ; Wisconsin State Senate District 8 . Served on committees including Assembly Organization, Joint Information Policy and Technology , Joint Legislative Council, Labor, and Rules. Currently on Assembly Committee on Licensing, Constitution and Federalism.
