Melissa Havlorson Wiklund graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Performing Arts and Political Science in 2004. Melissa works with at-risk youth and has led the MEADA Players, a program using the power of theater and art to promote healthy life choices among teens. Melissa is active in the Prior Lake Lions Club and her local community theater. She and her husband Erik, a computer engineer, are the parents of two young daughters. Melissa will focus on quality education, livable wages, affordable healthcare, and equal rights so Minnesota families can thrive.read less
